Steam and glycol systems are widely used across industrial applications for process heating, temperature control, and thermal energy distribution. Heat exchangers in these systems must deliver reliable performance under continuous operation, frequent load changes, and varying temperature levels, while maintaining compact system layouts.

For this project, a plate & shell heat exchanger was supplied to Henan XX Refrigeration Equipment Co., Ltd for use in industrial steam and glycol heat transfer systems. The exchanger is designed to provide efficient and stable heat exchange between high-temperature steam and closed-loop glycol circuits, supporting a wide range of industrial heating applications.
The fully welded plate & shell construction provides a robust, gasket-free pressure boundary well suited for steam service. By eliminating elastomeric gaskets, the design enhances reliability under repeated thermal cycling and reduces the risk of leakage, ensuring long-term stable operation in industrial environments.
Chevron-pattern plate geometry generates high turbulence on both the steam and glycol sides, resulting in high heat transfer efficiency and rapid thermal response. This allows precise temperature control of glycol circuits while maintaining compact equipment dimensions compared with conventional shell-and-tube heaters.
